Basic flat surface mounts for trunk and roof applications. Includes two 2 1/2" (63.6mm) circular discs (stainless steel exterior disc), mounting stud and a rubber gasket to protect vehicle finish and seal assembly. The K-4DD model has a low underside profile for confined space installs. Requires a 1/2" (13mm) hole and flat surface for installation. WHERE TO BUY?

Recommended for heavy-duty Firestik and Firestik II antennas up to 3-feet and, lighter duty FireFly antennas up to 4-feet. Using a spring is optional but should be considered when used in locations with over-hanging foliage. When used with any groud plane dependent antenna, the lower disc must be in contact with a chassis grounded surface. In most cases, nowadays, the mount is stronger than the vehicle metal where it is to be mounted so best results will be realized if placement is on or near a structural support lying under the surface of the mounting location.
