The AR-9 adapter is a very unique piece that allows the user to connect a female mini-UHF terminated coaxial cable to the common SO-239 UHF connectors found on CB radios and CB antenna mounts. Coaxial cables that are terminated with a female mini-UHF connector (see our AR-8) will allow the cable to pass through a smaller opening than that what a standard PL-259 UHF connector would require.
